Midland Players – ‘Tea and Tentacles at Zeta Reticuli’

I was invited down to the University of Sheffield’s Drama Studio to the dress rehearsal of Midland Players’ ‘Tea and Tentacles at Zeta Reticuli’, written by Joe Otten.  I always enjoy getting down to a tech or dress rehearsal, as you see the final versions of the play before it goes live, and the final polish being applied to it.

The play was good – tongue in cheeky sci-fi, a nice balance of comedy, observation on human behavior and a couple of social themes thrown in for good measure.  It’s running until Saturday evening, drop in if you get a chance (tickets)
